Salut à tous,

Je tâche d'améliorer constamment le site, et j'ai fait pour cela quelques changements dans le navigateur et le chat en flash :
- les 10 messages les plus récents sont maintenant affichés quand vous entrez dans un salon ;
- les messages de type "machin quitte le salon"/"entre"/"est déconnecté" ne s'affichent plus ;
- il n'y a plus de message d'accueil automatique.

Tout cela est largement exploratoire, dans le but de débarrasser le chat de pas mal de "bruit" et d'améliorer le confort des conversations. Comme d'habitude, je suis preneur de tout retour!

Il y a d'autres petites corrections et améliorations mineures apportées sur le reste du site. Essayez de voir si vous arrivez à toutes les détecter :).

Dans un effort continu pour améliorer le site, j’ai fait quelques changements sur le chat de navigateur et Flash.

- Les dix derniers messages sont affichés lorsque vous rejoignez un canal.
- Jointure, les congés et les messages de cesser de fumer sont n’est plus montrés.
- il y'en aucun salutations automatisées.

Il s’agit en grande partie une expérience à rendre le Chat moins "bruile" et de meilleure qualité pour les conversations. Comme toujours, vos commentaires sont appréciés !

Il y a quelques autres corrections mineures et des améliorations sur le reste du Site. Voir si vous pouvez les repérer tout :)

il est dommage de ne pas pouvoir faire de dons sans passer par un autre organisme (paypal)

I was in chat last night and really improves things.

My only comment is perhaps just ONE short message who enters. Only 1 entry.

I have to congratulate u for running this site so well. No wonder now is the best site for wrestling as the other one is dropping usage and members like me.

When someone new enters chat, you used to be able to click on their name and see their profile. That was really useful - could that come back please?

Thanks for constantly trying to improve the site. I am one who welcomes change. One thing I do miss is seeing who is signing in to chat.

yes, i also like the simplified chat overall, but it's hard to find my friends without any notice when someone logs in.

I much prefer this way, I avoided chat before because it was just too loud.
out of curiosity, is there much of a demand for chat rooms? like different topics, or by location or something?

I'm not sure. It is possible to create any number or rooms, in fact users create their own rooms all the time. These rooms go away when all the people there leave.

It seems inefficient to have no way to learn who enters Chat after I enter. -1

I do in a way agree to this. However, perhaps a new feature could be added to see who entered after you've entered..
I do like the new main channel as it is now; people have never been as active before, as they are now.

We can't see who enters the room but every few minutes we have to see a message about photos that need to be classified. What's with that?

I use Flash chat, and miss audio notification from incoming private messages (as in https://www.meetfighters.com/mail#/ ) under this new setup. I however very much like the lack of clutter in the main chatroom.

I find the "join, leave and quit" messages to be helpful and miss them. Possible to have an option where we can turn them on or off?

several of us have said we miss the option where we see who joins and leaves the site but none of us has received an answer regarding our comments. seems like they are falling on deaf ears.

Showing the users joining or leaving is a tradeoff. Many seem to like it better this way and there is a lot more discussion going on in chat now. That is a good thing.

In the browser chat you can manually enable join/leave messages, by clicking oh the Settings (gears) icon. If you absolutely must have it as default, try the mibbit chat, that one will show you that info always. Or you can install your own IRC client and configure it any way you like. At this time I have no intention of changing the current default behaviors further.
