Pursuit of muscle bear status update
I've not updated in a while and wanted to explain why. We've had a second English lock down with gyms closed. This has frustrated me but I understand the need to control the virus in society. Now gyms are reopen I've made a clear plan to lose some weight and muscle up. I've got too beefy and now is the time to up my cardio work, along with continuing to lift heavy things. I'd be interested to know what other mens views are on this, or if anyone has advice to share.

09/12/2020 14:34In my very unscientific and inexpert opinion, it is a matter of (i) cut right down on carbs, (ii) replace them with high quality fats and proteins, (iii) count calories, (iv) train with a buddy or a personal trainer and (v) sleep well.
And if that doesn't make the man in the mirror look happy, maybe he's meant to be stocky

10/12/2020 01:35Because of my mother’s new Kidney Diet, I’ve switched over to flexible eating and I really like it. I read Layne Norton’s book on Fat Loss Forever, created an excel spreadsheet and computed what I need as far as macros. I make sure I do 20 minutes of intervals on a treadmill daily after lifting and I really feel a lot better.

10/12/2020 06:53Careful with cardio exercises selection, running did a good job for me on weight loss front but it may destroy you knees and ankles considering the weight. What i liked a lot was sets on rowing machine, stair master and elliptical machine. Regarding your eating habits pair protein diet with weight lifting period and complex carbohydrates with cardio period. One more thing, there are types of training you need to select depending on the goal you want to achieve , weight loss 70/30 , strength 50/50, building mass 20/80 (cardio / weight training). Every person may respond differently, observe your measurements. i was focusing majority of the time to strength training, which resulted with muscle growth at constant weight e.g. it got me in shape :)

19/10/2021 22:34Hey there - l was firmly in musclebear territory when covid hit, but now I'm more bear than muscle and NOT HAPPY! My main profile pic is me in February 2020. The attached is me in September 2021. 18 months of work from home isolation and no gym until the beginning of October 2021 has resulted in the copious padding around somewhat shrunken musculature.
The fight back, however, has begun. Been back at the weights for nearly 3 weeks, and have gotten back to sensible eating, along with proper supplementation. I've never been a big cardio person. I cut all simple carbs from my diet, and severely restrict others. I get most of my carbs from fresh fruit and veg, which I tend to eat raw. I massively increased my lean protein intake, and eliminated almost all sugar aside from that which occurs in oranges, berries, apples, etc. So far I don't see a big change, but I feel stronger, and feel much better overall.
The strict diet and regular lifting formula has worked well for me in the past and will again! Você precisa efetuar login com seu usuário e senha para visualizar a galeria de fotos.
