It was great to finally meet this fit, hairy wrestler man after messaging each other over the years. A great opponent with a good wrestling attitude. He was quite a challenge and we were well matched for a good fight. Submissions gained by us both - I had to succeed to his speciality arm lock. I hope for some more rematches. A good wrestler and a lovely guy.

Went down to see Dave (Docklands Bear) in Southampton. We had been in touch for quite a bit but I never actually had wrestled him so we took the opportunity. Well worth the journey. We had a good tussle on his mats. Dave knows his moves and is a good opponent. I even learned a few moves which I hadn't practiced before. We both like a good chat about this and that so a very pleasant experience in Southampton that day. Thanks Dave, see you again in the New Year.

Had a good meet with Tombar in a hotel in London. Despite the space restriction we were able to have a good fun wrestle and Tombar had me in some good holds. A very pleasant afternoon was spent and he is a very likeable bloke.

Steve’s a strong and very experienced wrestler, but he was totally respectful of the fact that I had recently recovered from a neck injury. We had a gentle, fun roll around and he was generous enough to let me get a couple of submissions out of him - although I’m sure he could have got a lot more out of me if he’d wanted to! Clive is a lightweight but don't be fooled. He has particularly strong legs and knows how to use them. We wrestled at Walthamstow ring and although I had the weight advantage, he was quite capable of holding his own against me, despite him having a neck injury. He is safe and sane. We had a thoroughly pleasant encounter and I am looking forward to round 2.

Met Steve 50 again after a few years . He's a great guy . Very genuine . and loves his wrestling .very strong guy . had much difficulty obtaining a submission from him ! Del (Prosub) looks the part in his pro gear and has the skills to go with it. I had to work hard to avoid submitting to him but he eventually got me 2-0 on his new wrestling mats. Very enjoyable meet in a very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Another great meet with this very pleasant gentleman who has a wonderful and manly physique. A good competitive match followed. He is a strong and very worthwhile opponent, not to be missed.

Was it three years since our last bout? If it was, it was my fault for not chasing up this star of the mats. He's beefier now than I remembered, but still one hell of a class act on the mats! It won't be so long before the rematch, I hope!

After a long break, met up again with this wrestler at Barnet mat room. He's looking good as ever in gear, with a great physique, especially his arms. We had a good, fun, sweaty roll for an hour or two! Was great to lock up again after all this time!
This is one great guy to wrestle! We have met regularly over the years. Tough, strong, reliable, hes a skilled wrestler who enjoys the struggle on the mats. HIGHLY recommended!

New season starts with a tussle with dadwrestle. Good workout and I picked up a few tips to refine some of my moves too. I made him work for positioning and we had a good laugh at the same time (during the intensity of course !!).

Paul is a great guy to wrestle. Good fun too. Never a dull moment. You won't be disappointed.

Met steve in Mangalore after a long chatting for years. He is a well built, handsome & good hearted man. We enjoyed series of wrestling. He taught me some techniques as well. It's a great pleasure to have him in my past opponents list. Looking forward to meet him again.

Met up with Kusthipatu in Mangalore. Good guy and very friendly. He’s fit and a good all round wrestler. He got me in several occasions with choke holds and head scissors. I certainly recommend him for a good hard wrestle and I am going back next year for more.

So glad that Steve was able to be part of one of my mini-meets in the ring at Walthamstow. We had a fantastic give and take session, which worked really well - not least since I am four stone lighter than him. Add a bit of pro for good measure, and it was a perfect match-up for me. Super temperament, super personality and super company for a sherbet afterwards. Steve easily makes it to my "must see again list." Thanks, Steve!

Chris was kind enough to invite me to one of his mini meets at Walthamstow. A fun and enjoyable couple of hours. Chris seemed so at home wrestling in the ring that i thought he was a bit of a veteran. Not so, as I found out later during refreshments at the pub near to the station. For a relatively newbie lightweight he is definitely worth a wrestle.

Having met Steve I think I should drop the idea that I am at all strong. He is very strong but was kind enough to not destroy me utterly and to show me some useful holds learned from his great experience.
Steve is great fun to spend time with. If you get the chance, meet him. He is highly recommended by me.

Had a wrestle with John the other night. Despite the weight advantage and him being a lightweight compared to me, he didn’t shy away from wrestling me. Watch out for his strong legs which could cause you to end up submitting to him if you get caught out. A very pleasant meet with John and we are going to keep in touch.

Met this guy at a gym and had my first chance to wrestle in a ring. Steve lined up everything, met me at tube stop, and was a great host. Had fun rolling with him and exchanging holds. He is strong and knowledgeable. I have no doubts he could have easily manhandled me in a competitive sub match. Highly recommend meeting him if you can.

Met Ken at the Walthamstow ring in London. He looks lean and mean. We had a good fun session. Keep away from his headscissors. It finished 0-0 but he was close to getting a submission out of me on two occasions. Nice guy in and out of the ring.

Met with Steve at Walthamstow after a year long lay off for me. He's younger, stronger and more experienced than me but I had blast as he kept his level down to mine and we struggled and sweated for a good 90 minutes.
A really nice guy and solid wrestler who helped me with improving myself as well as giving me a good hard time in the ring.

Yes we met again in Monica's ring and mats. He dominated the submissions but I think I made him work hard for each one. He is very strong with a totally solid defence so if you wrestle him be prepared to work hard .

Most important he is great guy ad utterly safe to wrestle against.

For his maturing years and considering he does not wrestle every week, you don’t expect such a full on performance from ukman65 but he gave as good as he got yesterday at Walthamstow ring in a good sweaty workout. Watch out for his body scissors and he likes dishing out neck punishment, all in a good sporting manner.

ukman65 had another go at me today despite him having a toe injury. We soon warmed up in the Walthamstow ring despite the cold weather outside. I didn't tell him but on three occasions I was very close to submitting to the punishment he was dishing out. He is a full-on relentless wrestler. Give him a go. In the end my strength held out and I got a victory. I am sure he will be back for more till he eventually gets to take me.

Rematch on 29/08/2017 in Barnet: Had a few hours wrestling Steve and I managed a few subs from him where I split his legs and got him in my headlocks but he got me back with his armbars and his headlocks. Genuine guy, highly recommended

Another rematch with Steve on the mats and the ring at Walthamstow and yet again I was subject to his wicked armbar but a few scissors from me made sure it was evens stevens this time. Still got the recommendation from me, well played!

Met ShockR today in a group meet at Walthamstow. Nice bloke and strong with it. And he looks the part in his gear. Cannot wait for a one on one with him.
29/08/2017 Now had the one on one and definitely worth waiting for. A good tussle. Oh boy, he has got a decent pair of strong thighs on him. Stay clear of his head scissors. And I got well caught out with his legs splits. And Iain (ShockR) is such a nice bloke too.

20/08/18 Another tussle with ShockR at Walthamstow. Honours even but I got deprived of a victory due to being punished in a series of scissors as he got the upper hand on me. We have got unfinished business and we will see who comes out on top next time.

Steve was a lot of fun. Nice guy, clean and prompt. My hotel room was small, but we made the best of it, exchanging holds. Steve is in good shape and handsome. He is strong and wirey, happy to be stretched out and twisted in all directions. Good match, do recommend.

Had a wrestle with Dan NYPROCHAMP at his hotel. What a good way to spend a Sunday morning. We had a good tussle. He is strong and is a good opponent and we had plenty of chatting too. I am looking forward to round 2.

I met Steve on 1 November at Barnet mat room, this must have been our 6th or 7th meet over a number of years, Steve is a very fit, strong and pretty skilled wrestler - we both worked very hard and had a great workout - the mats were drenched in sweat. As well as being a very worthy opponent, Steve is a laugh on the mats, not taking things too seriously. After our workout, it was down to the Mitre Public House for a few beers - another really enjoyable evening with a genuinely nice bloke - the date has already been set for round 8!

Alan (Scrapmerchant) is a great bloke, you should try him but I can tell you he likes it hard and rough but he is COMPLETELY safe and sane despite the outward exterior !!! Him and I have a great laugh when we meet on the mats, lots of piss taking and then a nice quiet couple of pints afterwards to put the world to rights. Highly recommended but he won't make it easy for you

And we've met at last! Thoroughly enjoyed spending the afternoon in his company as I did wrestling with him man on man. So to this end I trust this was the first of many meetings to come. We already agreed upon a 2nd match so roll on November!

Antheus very kindly came to London to meet me at the Barnet matroom. We spent a thoroughly pleasant afternoon getting to know each other and having a wrestle. He's got very strong legs, watch out for those scissors. We have already planned a second meet in November.

It was a great pleasure to wrestle Steve at my hotel in London yesterday. He is fit, strong and knows what he is doing and I certainly had to fight hard to get my submissions. Well, I had read the recommendations on Steve's (Torrnado) profile and how true they are. Despite his height and weight, I was struggling to get any subs out of him. His gym training is certainly working. He must have the strongest arms I have ever had to wrestle. It was a real pleasure to wrestle him on a summer's afternoon. He's safe and sane and we had a good laugh along the way. Here's to the next time.

31/07/2017: Sometimes the guys whom you meet for a grapple aren't just nice guys, they're inspirational. Steve50a is such a wrestler. Most guys in their 20s would be delighted to have such a good physique and he is seriously strong with it. Each and every subs was a huge effort to get as he just powers out of what you try to put on him. And his effective leg laces often meant I needed to concentrate on a reversal before attack was possible. So our match at the Walthamstow ring hugely enlivened an otherwise dull Monday; as did a couple of pints and a chat about all things wrestling afterwards. Safe, sane, reliable and just the right sort of feisty, steve50a was a great pleasure to wrestle and hopefully we'll be able to grapple again soon.

Thoroughly enjoyable meet with Craig (squashlad) last night at Walthamstow. He is attitude-free, down to earth and has a good sense of humour. I had to be on my best defensive form to withstand the onslaught but it was all well worth the effort and I am definitely looking forward to the next time. And we had a nice couple of winding down beers in the local pub at the end. A nice way to spend a Monday night.

Good ruck with this evenly matched opponent. Great guy on and off the mat. Well recommended! Watch out for arm locks, but is a sucker for scissors! Enjoyed every minute of our 1-1 in Barnet.

Good meet at Barnet with Pete. We had an even match with plenty of verbals. It was a race as to who could get the first armlock. Pete is a bit of a cyclist so watch out for his scissors!! And we had a most convivial après-match tincture at Ye Olde Mitre in Barnet High Street.

Met Steve this morning for a match at Barnet.
We met some years ago and it was really good to catch up again.
He is a very good and strong wrestler but he is gracious enough to wrestle to his opponents standards.We had a couple of hours getting nice and sweaty, especially as it was so cold outside.
I can't recommend him enough and if you are lucky enough to meet him you certainly won't be disappointed. Great guy off the mats too

Met up with duel_action today at Barnet after a long while. He hasn't lost his touch. My biceps will be feeling it tomorrow after some prolonged punishment. I started to weaken during the match after a combined scissor and shoulder lock move that he subjected me to. I certainly had to work for my win today. Such a nice bloke too. Highly recommended.

After many attempts to meet Steve we finally got to grips as part of a small group at Walthamstow.

Despite his amiable manner, Steve is strong tough and fights hard so I had to work hard to stay afloat. A great tag partner too. We showed them!!!!

I had heard good things about Ed (Ironbull) and they are all true. He certainly looks the part in his gear. A very tough opponent who had me working hard defensively. And a great bloke out of the ring too. I am looking forward to the next encounter.

I met Steve in 2008, we had a GREAT match, I had him in my headlock unable to move for a long time, that said, he is a great opponent who I hope will have a rematch with me sometime, highly recommended.

Lance might be a lightweight but he sure gives as good as he gets and he knows the holds. Had an enjoyable match with him and would like a re-match. I would certainly recommend him.

The Mackem met the Geordie and they enjoyed each others company is a bit of a letdown from this rivals grudge match.

Steve is a great lad with poor taste in football teams. More fit and muscled than me and we had a good submission bout with subs both sides, as well as a blast in the ring.

Great to christen the new Walthamstow mats and ring too. Nice facility for those in London.

Strong upper body on Steve and he doesnt sub easily. Thought I would test his legs out with some leg stretches and they held up well!

For a mackem, Gary (mackemsub) is a good bloke. Had a good workout with him at Monica's new wrestling ring in Walthamstow today. He is definitely to be recocmmended but watch out for those powerful legs. I am looking forward to the next match.

If you want to learn a few more moves then Steve is your man. He has plenty of time and patience for novices like myself. Had a good hour's tuition and built up quite a sweat. We spent a lot of the grappling-time talking through holds. He engages you in very interesting conversation off the mats too. Highly recommended for new recruits to wrestling and the more experienced who could give him a tougher time.

Good enthusiastic learner and watch out for those scissors and the arm locks. You can tell he is gym fit. Nice guy off the mats too.

Met this wrestler back in Sept 2013, glad he is back. I had enjoyed my match with him, he was strong, agile and put some impressive holds on me which made me sweat. Looks good in gear and quite fit. Excellent wrestle with Rob, he is very strong and I had to be on the defensive a lot of the time. As well as a competitive wrestle,we had a good laugh too. That is always important in my book. Have a wrestle with him if you get the chance.

Can't believe Steve has changed his profile and made me rewrite his recommendation, does he think my short novels come at the drop of a hat? He was a great meet, very skilled, impossible to get his arms apart, seem to remember only my thighs seemed to have some success. I also recall he has a very fine hairy chest, strange the things that stick in your mind ha ha and he was very patient with me blowing my nose through the tale end of a cold. Do meet steve50a he is the new improved version of steve50 although the original was pretty darn good and a lot of fun.

For a relative novice (so he says) hugefan was by no means a pushover. In fact he wasn't a pushover at all. I had to be on the defence with some good resistance to keep the scoreline respectable. Definitely worth a meet and watch those legs of his.
