And my first ever time at barnet. What took me so long?!

Well first of all, I know it sounds silly but was more nervous of meeting all the people then the wrestling. But Andy was a great host and the guys were really friendly which helped settle my nerves.

I am still a newbie and was worried that the guys I were wrestling would be disappointed in a match with me. But hopefully, I made them work a bit hard for it and it wasnt too easy for them.

Luckily people were kind enough to share tips and hints too. Now just must remember them when I hit the mats.

It was good to also have other people to talk to about wrestling and hear their take on things whilst enjoying watching other matches. Like this site, felt part of a community.

Barnet is also a great set up too. Clean, comfortable and welcoming as a space and with a great host too. I
Actually felt quite relaxed.

I enjoyed my first visit, first group meet and look forward to many more.

Thanks again to everyone who wrestled me,I promise to make it harder next time ;)
