Bearhugs

Knock out play is a nice fantasy and I for one would love to have someone bearhug me out but it's a risky kind of play and one which requires a lot of trust. When I see someone who insists they can't travel but then bullies others for saying they can't travel all I see is a prick who isn't worthy of my trust. What I'm seeing in this thread is toxic masculinity at its worst and I'm suggesting to anyone who's reading this to ask yourselves, is this really the kind of person I want to be playing with when I'm that vulnerable? If a rib breaks will he stop? If I go into cardiac arrest will he call for help or throw my body to the curb? Kink always has its risks but those risks are amplified when the person you choose to play with isn't worthy of trust.

Well said. I'm glad some one is thinking of the consequences. I get asked all the time to do certain holds and I refuse to do them. I have to think of the following do I trust this guy, can I execute this move properly and what happens if something goes wrong? This is also the case in the simplest matches. I'm not knocking the fantasy, but really think about what your asking. I've had guys asked me to break bones or make them bleed. This has never been my thing. Ask questions. Really know who your wrestling before you put your trust in their hands. Don't be afraid to say no.

I’ve made trips to NYC which is 90 miles away. Or DC which is 110 miles.

Both having transit options and hotels. The fastest route to Ohiopyle PA is 290 miles, can only be done via car and takes like 5 hrs to drive. You then can’t host, but there really aren’t hotels nearby, plus the days you’d be able to do would involve me taking off work just to squeeze in a quick hour or two meeting. Then I’d have to make the 5 hr drive back.

So yeah. It’s “far”. Could have just left it at that.

There is a post of your’s earlier in this very thread (when we were chatting) where you /literally/ say “I cannot host or travel” 🤣

I tried so many times to make it work or schedule out a workable time. But there was no budging, or you had to pick up a shift, or your family was there, then you always gaslight afterwards with the “/you’re/ always making excuses”.

Don’t know why so many people do that here. Just because someone else isn’t able to travel, get a room, then work hosting around your local schedule and work. Isn’t an “excuse” on their end, that’s so backwards.

Lol, now I’m blocked again. This is like the 9th time in the past three years.
