Back in August 1st 2016 I was involved in a serious accident I terrible shape after with multiple broken bones The doctors said I would be confined to a wheelchair.
They were wrong and I am doing okay. Needless to say not like I was. During this down time I lost many of my friends. That applies to actual physical friends and those who I have yet to meet. Before the accident I was well on my way to developing my schedule of fighting. I was starting with a friend from New York. Real rough and bare bones man. I like him and he thought I could fight with some coaching.
I never had a chance to punch him. I so wanted to but I was in hospital bed and no way to connect with him.
My life has changed but my need to explore the fighting world remains. One we reconnected and I explained what had happened he only made one suggestion. He said I should at first anyway do a one sided boxing. He is absolutely right. My movements are not totally returned so what the hell. I just stand there and take it. As long as I am able I will be around. One day my fist will land on his face and I hope it feels as good as all his punches to me. I think about where and what I would be doing right now. I know I would have had a few of you to fight. I would have something to put on my profile saying that have past opponents. I will fight I may stand in one spot but each blow to my body is another to learn. I will never give in to this idea that I am alone. I know better. I just have to let some of you see for yourself. I have come so far with nothing but hope to see my friend fight. I hope it will be me but if not it's OK. He is doing what he desires and that is my wish for him.
Please I want to be fighting. I am ready to go deeper into this powerful world.
I will not rest until I feel a man hit me. I hit him and we walk away friends. Incredible feeling of hurt bruise and bloody nose. But a beautiful experience.
I hope to see you ina dingy basement some time.

I feel your pain, I had a stroke a year ago last April, lost strength in my legs, arms and fingers.
Was out of the gym for 3 months. When I went back, I was limited to 2hr. sessions on Tues. and Thurs. Before the stroke, I also did about 3 hrs. of mixed boxing, a lot of mitt and bag workouts. My current trainer is still working on getting my strength.
I would be more then happy to meet you in a dinge gym or any place we could put the gloves on, the thought of exchanging punches with you makes me hard! I'm thinking of you and wish you the best of luck on your recovery. I also like your comments.
