Update on my weight loss journey, I have kept myself to the bike every evening I manage to do 600 calories in a hour, once again I have no idea if that is good enough, but my frame looks slender in the shirt I’m wearing. I used a digital scales and I managed to see that I’m still 17 stone on average, but sometimes it’s higher and lower so I don’t know if it’s on the blink or the way I’m standing on it affects the result.
Let’s see how this journey goes.

Maybe my experience can help you acheive your goal, it may take a lot of discipline, but all weight loss does. I have lost ~20lbs in the past two months. In order to do it, I wear a wrist activity tracker (like a fitbit) to calculate total calories burned, keep track of total calories (~2300) consumed through myfitnesspal app - this way I try to hit a caloric deficit of about 500 calories a day (or more, but I don't like going above 800). I try to get about a gram of protein per pound of bodyfat a day. I also don't purely do cardio, MFW are lifting days, while Tues, Thur, and a wknd day have been a hour on the stairmaster (~700 calories burned). I drink abt a gallon of water a day and try to get adequate sleep every night.

Thanks for the advice while a Stairmaster is not in my budget, I have heard good things about the Calorie Deficit so once my life gets less manic I’ll try it.

It doesn't have to be stairmaster; that's just my cardio/calorie burn focused day. I would recommend strength training for lifting as opposed to hypertrophy.
