How is it I hadn’t written a recommendation for one of my main regulars when I lived in Virginia? Sorry about that, bud!! Wrestlefight and I worked up a rivalry that crackled with electricity whenever we squared off. Usually in fight shorts and MMA gloves, we’d launch at each other and pretty quickly became a tangled mass of limbs and flying fists. The rage on our faces during the fight just turned us both on and made us fight harder. We have revisited those hostilities as often as my return visits will allow and the last time was as intense as any. Great guy and friend - smart, humble, nice, and rough in a fight. Just the right type. Looking forward to our next brawl.

John is one of the most intense and fun fighters that I have had the pleasure of meeting. I miss having him on the east coast as a regular fight partner and look forward to his trips back this way to get him back on the mat. If John is in your neighborhood, definitely arrange a match!

It had been said before but worth repeating - the man has a strong punch. Second meeting and he went harder. I never had a chance. I almost got one submission in - almost.

He is calm collected and rough. Even though I believe I was referred to as “rabid wolverine” at one point he knows how to control his opponent and keep them coming back.

Impromptu matches are fun! Who knew it would take coming to Chicago to meet? Tough opponent who takes a licking and comes back for me. We rolled a lot of promission with a very submissive edge. Lots of back and forth but he had to admit defeat in the end and I don't think he minded! Hit him up if you are in VA!

After I think a year of talking it was great to meet Mike. He contacted me during his visit to the Dc area. We had a great two hours of wrestling. Nice guy, good sparring partner on the mats. IF you get a chance to wrestle with him don't pass it up.

Had a great time wrestling with wrestlefight; he's a strong guy and knows some good moves. We made our freestyle-submission differences work in the end. :) Also, had fun getting to know him in a non-competitive way. Highly recommend and would wrestle him again.
