What can I say? I couldn’t believe my luck that this big man was on holiday within an hour (and a bit) of me.
So, with a few messages back and forth we met this afternoon.
I was so, so trepidatious. This wrestler has some serious form. And what a sight in his kit.
What a lovely man. He’s a beast, there’s no mistaking but with limited room, we had a seriously good sweaty bout.
I’m certain he was being gentle with me but nevertheless we both enjoyed being pinned, squeezed and stretched in equal measure.
I hope I can learn some new moves in preparation for round two.

Had a great wrestle with Matt. What a real Gent but don’t let that fool you - he’s also a great wrestler on the mats. Beware of the legs - real strength in those legs. Looks every part the wrestler too. Ready for round 2.

BeefyProWrestler went for it straight from the start, no messing. He was set on controlling this meet and managed to do so for almost the whole time.

Including toying with me by letting me think I was gonna get somewhere with a hold and then effortlessly flicking me aside. He is inhumanly strong. Bionic upgrades for sure. Don't bother taking on his arms. Or his legs. No, it doesn't leave much, does it!

Of course when he is not dishing out the pain and encouraging a submission, he is a lovely guy who hosted the meet and helped me out with info on the journey and ferried me between the station and his place. We had good chats before, during and after the session. Obviously the "during" ones were in breaks, he wouldn't have been able to understand much coming out between my gritted teeth (and between my yelps) whilst we were fighting.

So in bullet points:

Jonny is no roll over jobber he does put up a great fight and I really know I have wrestled. He can take the punishment and doesn't give easy.
Wrestled for a good couple of hours and the jobber kept trying to get that submission - determined feisty wrestler.
He looks amazing in his gear - does the jobber look so well. Great guy off the mats too - such a nice pleasant easy going wrestler.
I can't wait to unleash this inner heel again - Mr Innocent beware. Look forward to round 2. Highly recommended.

Met Beefyprowrestler and BruiserBoy in London for a 3 way match

Beefyprowrestler is strong with good ground defences and is good at preventing you getting a lock on if attempting a submission. He is an experienced wrestler and uses his combined strength and weight well to control his opponents when he needs to.

An enjoyable match with subs and pins on both sides.

Beefyprowrestler is friendly guy both on and off the mats and made me very welcome when I travelled up to meet himself and BruiserBoy for a wrestle

It was a sheer pleasure having this man in my place for a few days.Looks so tempting in his pro gear and dishes out punishment like a real "old British" wrestler.Off the mats,an easy-going,relaxed.pleasant guy.I need more action with you,big guy!

Had the best wrestle with Nikos - he plays the jobber so well. Can take all the punishment you can dish out. Great host too - will be back to Athens for round 2.

This guy knows his stuff, a really good pro wrestler and def looks the part, he also looks good in gear too. Strong and had good stamina and he made me work to get some subs out of him. Match was easy to arrange and was reliable and better still a nice guy to get along with. Def would me again, def worth meeting him.

Wrestled Robin about 3 times now and everytime is a real pleasure. He is strong and can take care of himself.. You know you have wrestled after a bout with this guy. Looks the part in his gear and is a real gent off the mats. Look forward to more mat action.

Had a great couple of hours wrestling with this very experienced and skilled wrestler. He was happy to wrestle down to my level, which I really appreciated! If not, he would have been constantly on top and making me tap out for the whole match!

Loved wrestling this Greek - had a profantasy match lots of verbal and to and fro action. He has an amazing wrestlers build and great legs and thighs. Skilled wrestler who knows his art. So nice off the mats too. Can't wait for a rematch with this Greek.

Strong big guy, with very good defencing skills ( you need effort to pin him down...if you do),....and also working to upgrade his offensive ones. Had the real pleasure of wrestling this tall lean fighting machine on a recent trip to Athens. He can wrestle and it took me all my time just to defend off attacks. He has great all over strength but has a wicked scissors. He looks so good in his trunks - a real athlete.
And off the mats Yannis was really nice.

Planning my return visit and round 2

22/02/2015: Had a good, long, sweaty and varied match up with this big, beefy bloke who looks and wrestles the part for World of Sport-style Britpro matches. Was very pleased to take a couple of subs off him in a competitive bout, although he took some off me too, then plenty of enjoyable give and take and finally the big guy used all his 230 lbs of beef to squash me properly. A safe and sane wrestler, a welcoming and hospitable host and a charming guy to chat to off the mats. Highly recommended and I'm looking forward to the rematch.
14/04/2015: Well, I got my rematch and it was as enjoyable as the first, with plenty of Britpro and give and take on the subs and a bit of practising holds. Beefyprowrestler was as safe and hospitable as ever and I'm sure there'll be more.

Had great wrestle with Craig today. Puts up a good fight for a jobber - wasn't all one sided. Has a good headlock and great potential. Really looked the part in his boots and trunks. And real nice guy off the mats too. You need to wrestle this wrestler. I am so looking forward to round 2.

Another good long wrestle - the jobber boy got an a submission so had to show him who was boss. The boy wrestles and suffers well. Love wrestling him and can't wait to hit the mats again.

I met beefyprowrestler on 25 March a really charming genuinely nice guy who looks the business in the kit. We had a good sweaty submission bout - the first of many I hope. This man is a great host, generous and an all round good guy - ready for the rematch anytime you are wrestler!!,

Should have taken this wrestler on years ago. Had a great submission style wrestle. Good sweaty wrestle and really made me work. One mouthy feisty wrestler who is not afraid of wrestling with the big boys. Great banter on and off the mats. Genuine guy who I hope to wrestle lots more.

I was a little wary of meeting beefy, as he is three stones heavier I worried I might just be a squashed fly on his mats. However having lured many ten stone guys into my thighs i thought it was only fair I gave a big guy a go and I needn't have worried. Great sweaty wrestle with a lovely safe guy.

I think Grizzily Adams as i decided to call him is very considerate, handsome and reminds me of someone famous although couldn't quite place who, he is a lovely big bear and it was a pleasure trying to get to get on top of him (so to speak). I did have to remind him that it was only polite to let a guest feel like he was winning and I think I managed to drill that thought into his head or maybe he is just a good guy. He certainly left me feeling tired in a good positive way rather than deflated.

If you get an invite don't be intimidated by his size, Grizzily is a lovely guy, good company and a fun wrestle.

Don't know why I haven't hit the mats with this wrestler sooner. Had a great rumble and as he said before we met "I won't just roll over" and he didn't. Was a good sweaty wrestle and the Falkirk fighter was a good feisty opponent.
Good laugh on and off the mats.

Had a good session with this big beefy wrestler, I managed to get some leg holds and scissors but overall he had the upper hand. Nice guy and easy to arrange a meet. Recommended.

13.10.2014 Wrestler big but absolutely a pleasure to wrestle ...not if you stay under him of course ;) - we had a couple of subs where I struggled a lot, but I enjoyed it a lot more. Very nice person with a great liking to absolutely defy if you switch from its place.

Had great wrestle with this guy at a group meet - big weight and height difference but really made me work. Pleasure to wrestle and can't wait for round 2.

This is the second time I've met this big powerful wrestler....,again only had a brief match...again I could have gone longer. Looking forward to a proper session with beefyprowrestler. So ready for round three when you are mate:-)

Had a single meet some time ago. Big strong man. Was one of my first so was very nervous and now wish had done more. We were well matched and it was good fun. Friendly guy and remember being pinned a few times and I particularly remember some fig 4 work. Hope we can meet again

Into beefy old school pro wrestlers ? Beefyprowrestler and his teammate grappleguy66 are really great to wrestle with as a tag team or one vs one. I had a good time wrestling with both on the pro ring. Very much into action and would be great to find a good pro referee to watch us during the match and prevent all the dirty tricks we love to use to inflict to one another till down for the count ! With their matching pro trunks and their pro boots Beefyprowrestler and Grappleguy66 are also fine to watch. Being technician is better if you want to resist !

After watching this formidable wrestler take on ragazzboyitaly is a very intense match, I got my chance at a quick bout. Very strong and incredibly powerful and very nearly got the better of me. Luckily sweat was on my side and I was able to pull it back and get a very sudden sub on the big guy. Great evening and would be great to get another chance, highly recommended for a tough match

This wrestler is not only great to wrestle but a real pleasure to watch in action. Another catchweight bout but the boy wrestled extremely well. Watch those powerful legs, but it was a killer headlock he caught me with - had no option but to tap. A BJJ fighter who knows his stuff - a great wrestler and great bloke off the mats. Can't wait to wrestle again.

Met beefypro several times now and hes improving all the time- big powerful wrestler hes now gaining tecnique and competitive submission style is coming out. Never disappoints this Gr8 heavyweight powerful wrestler who knows his pro holds well and is a real handful on the mats. Off mats easy to chat too great personality and we will be definitely wrestling again. Top bloke and one definitely to wrestle - he has my recommendation.

Had a great wrestle with the Greek God - every bit as strong as he looks. Knows the wrestling game too - one tough opponent. Had a great pro style struggle - can't wait for round 2.

What a wrestler!! Beefyprowrestler is my ideal wrestle, polite, intelligent and enjoys a good old wrestle. He made me think of how to work the bout to my advantage. We eventually wrestled today after about two years of chatting. Beefy by name and nature, he looks just the part in his trunks and pro boots. Great give and take session with plenty of grunt n groan. Will certainly meet again.
