I agree, nothing is the best. Nothing can beat the feel of a single layer and I always get a little disappointed watching some pro match when you see a dude's briefs peaking out from a high cut leotard. Why so bashful? ^^;;
I prefer to wear a jockstrap underneath — support, gives me something else to remove in a stakes or strip match, more comfortable IMO than compression shorts.

Depends on the environment, really. If I’m working out at home or rolling with someone on their home mats, nine times out of 10, I don’t. (It’s a relatively new thing for me to go w/ nothing on underneath but I do enjoy it).
At.a formal practice or competition or other locale where modesty’s requires, I’ll wear briefs or a jockstrap.
Wrestlers like Nikita Koloff didn’t wear anything under his singlet. Since all of my matches are private, I am okay with wearing nothing underneath my singlets. I like less modesty and really appreciate the direct pull of the silky stretchy material on my manhood. And if I happen to get a semi chub, I don’t have to worry about a waist band pressing on me.
