Very true - wrestling in a domestic environment is problematic in terms of space and furniture (unless someone has an empty room) and I find hotel wrestling uncomfortable with the hassle of re-arranging the room to make space, etc.
But also the local culture. They are less outgoing and open to ideas compared to other parts of the UK. And I could go on. Can't say I found many guys after my taste, leave alone wrestling. Most guys in Edinburgh are camp af and they think sporting facial hair makes you a bear. No it doesn't. Some of them should shave imo.
It's the way they are. The few good looking ones will talk to you for months and will eventually fail to turn up. It's just a sad place really. Horrible weather, bland people, cities without character and the lowest life expectancy in Britain. Haggis.
I always have to travel to Mancs, London, Yorks or Newcastle to meet with wrestlers. There doesn't seem to be any interest in Scotland. But Mancs esp is a great place to meet with wrestlers
Couldn't agree more, I miss the guys down in Manchester area. Proper guys, masculine, hairy just the way I like my wrestlers. I could probably keep going about what I dislike about Scotland until tomorrow but I'd have to write an essay. I'm actually looking for a job in my field as we speak as I intend to relocate back to Manchester, Id walk on foot if I could. I'd move tomorrow honestly.
Having moved from Manchester at the end of last year I am surprised that there are no meetings of the Scotland-based wrestlers just like the guys in Manchester or other places like London for instance, do. Was wondering whether it is possible to organize this and plan in advance?

16/8/2019 01:30Part of the problem is lack of facilities and unable to host wrestling on a bed is very restrictive

15/8/2019 00:02There are some great looking Scots who I would have loved to wrestle while I was there but no one seems to be able to host

Not to mention free prescriptions, free eye tests, no university tuition fees, free care for the elderly, stunning scenery, etc., etc.

It is what you make it, lads.
Be the Scot you want to wrestle, that's what I say.
I've had some great times on the mats with other Scots, and some repeat business too. And I'm looking forward to meeting some more.

Yes, Scotland is definitely not my kind of place. Looks so sad and desolate

I'm hoping I could relocate back to Manchester as there's not much to do here

I’m in Glasgow and happy to join a Scottish meet if a venue or host can be found.
