Well Harrier, They are very messy, but loads of fun But make sure there is a large enough tarp or plastic sheet to cover the wrestling area and more. Also the tarp or plastic sheet should be taped down or u will spend half the bout resetting the Tarp into position.
Oils are of course important and I have found olive oil to be good and some people use unscented baby oil, but be careful and not get it in your eyes.
The pre fight oiling up I find very erotic and sure gets each other in the right mood.
Have lots of towels and wipes on hand at "ring side" as before walking off the "ring" you will have to clean the soles of ur feet or you will leave oil stains everywhere.
As for wrestling, being covered in oil makes it harder to hold on to each other and often the oil helps you slip out of a hold.
You can stand up to start a fight but I prefer being on my knees as it is so easy to slip standing.
