my fav way to get sub from pin combo is to drive opponent over to his back with armbar and a ball and chain...........once you have him tilted over i kick my wrestle shoe under his neck and lock the reverse figure 4 headscissor...as he tries to bridge i tug the ball and chain...forcing him to rub his own singlet bulge and breaking his bridge attempt........apply more pressure to his trapped neck by arching up and reaching back free hand to grip and tug my own wrestle shoe......gets him pinned, tappoing AND edged

Yeah, important to make your pins hurt as you go for the stick.

One issue I have with pinning to submission is that I get hard in the process. Something about that kind of domination is a real high. But I don't try to hide it anymore. I pinned a guy in a tournament and had a huge hard on when I stood up and I felt comfortable with all the glances. Lots of wrestlers get hard, whether they are looking for sex matches or not.

Wrestling is all about man to man. It is primal.

One way to get a guy to submit to a pin is to increase pressure on his ribs. Instead of just sinking your chest into his, tilt your chest a little so your rib case presses into his ribs. The pressure will make it harder for him to breath and the pain will force him to submit.

I got a throw on another wrestler to his back. As soon as I was on top, I turned my chest so its side was pressing on his rib cage and I cranked the headlock in which I had his right arm trapped. This was not a choke since I had one of his arms locked up with his head. He could not take the pressure on his rib cage from the pin and he submitted pretty fast.

Probably the combination of the pin pressure, as well as the difficulty breathing, caused him to tap out.

I agree bud on this. Also lifting his head up makes for more pressure.

Lifting his head up also prevents him from bridging off his head when you have him almost pinned. The only thing he can bridge off then are his shoulder blades.

Another pin that works real well in getting submission is guillotine. Can be made painful if applied real tight

How do you get the guilly on your man?

Just used another great submission pin- far side cradle. You get the cradle by locking up the wrestler's far leg to his head, then sink your leg into the closer leg and really stretch him. He will submit if you put a lot of pressure on him.

awesome pin combo..i like getting my shoulder behind that far cradled leg and really driving it so his wrestle shoe presses his headgear....then turk and lock his near free leg as i grind my singlet bulge up under his and really stretch him out.....pinned...edged and waiting for tap

Almost every pin you get can be used as a submission hold if enough pressure is applied. If using a cradle I like the nearside leg cradle with a vine on the far leg, now stretching him out you will get the tap.

Yup. Either way, it is a punishing pin which will force him submit

Yes I agree, The Guillotine can be used with great cranking power.

You can call it a submission hold, but grapevine pins are a part of folkstyle/freestyle. Only difference here is I used it for a lot longer than is required to get a pin, until the guy could not fight it any longer.

My type of wrestling holds to apply. Just sink it in and let them flail away trying to escape...hot!!!!

Just wrestled a guy who fought my pin for 12 minutes, a record. Eventually switched the pin to a grapevine and made it really painful. He finally submitted to that.

Translation: You used a submission hold to get the victory. Sometimes submission wrestling is ok too.....

My last excercise in warming up my neck is someone sitting on my chest while I'm bridging ... high bridge to low bridge and back , high bridge and from there turning to both sides

After back surgery, it is harder for me to bridge, but still do. You look in great shape. The kind of wrestler I itch to tie up with

Like all wrestlers I train bridging a lot. It makes your neck strong. You need back-arching for many throws and a bridge is the last defence to avoid a pin.

Bridging with the weight of another wrestler on your chest really builds neck strength. Manly alpha training is the best.

Lots of guys I wrestle want to wrestle submission. Whether in freestyle or submission matches, I love to use pins to get submissions. I find the final struggle to be very hot, with one man fighting to escape the pin, thrashing around, as I sink my pin. Long held pins are the best form of male on male domination.

Yes it does, nothing better and more dominant then pinning another guy until he gives and feeling him struggling trying to get free
