Both are good fun, but cause different sensations. Gloves are great for that all-around, even "OOMPH" and ache sensation, and gloves definitely allow longer sessions with less bruising. Knuckles are amazing for that super intense, blinding, "flash pain". Love getting both.

I like both, but in all honesty, gloves work better . First, even a little bit of padding will prolong the session. and second, because of that padding both nuts get clobbered with nearly every shot. MMA, bag mitts and 8 oz gloves are great for this.
