Now that I have been vaccinated and 20% of NV has been totally vaccinated, with another 20% having had their first shot the outlook is starting to improve. I now have thicker puzzle mats where I live (Spring Valley neighborhood in SW Las Vegas Metro Area with easy 24/7 access via bus #202 from The Strip) and if u are fully vaccinated and would like to practice Techniques at a safe and mutually comfortable level while in Las Vegas feel free to contact me. For added safety mat area room also has negative ventilation. Thanks

I'm stuck as i live in quite a narrow house so don't really have room to train. With the UK gyms closed, I have't trained since February

I agree with @BennyBoy's list of exercises. Is there a park or other open space nearby where you can exercise?

Add the triangle choke drill to that list.

It's ok to get muddy if working out in the park.

Do your rolls; forward, backwards And side, jumping jacks, oomphas, leg raises, bicycles, leg circles, Gramby rolls, cross collar crunches, Supermans, planks, mountain climbers, S walks, bear crawls, rabbit jumps, hell... even BURPEES!!!... if you have the room... there is very little excuse for you not to keep a routine.... Swap between 7-8 exercises and spread them for every other day... (3) 1 minute reps.... do what you can!!! And before you ask.. yes, there are plenary more workouts you can do. Do as many as you can... Be safe :)

Contact sports, including without limitation, martial arts, basketball, wrestling, and boxing may only be offered in a manner where participants do not physically contact other participants, or activities that require participants to perform within six feet of each other.

The above is the part of the Governor's Orders (28-5) for Phase 2 reopening in NV under which we are in now. Due being high risk, assuming the gyms play by the rules, I do not feel safe in going in yet until there is a vaccine, treatment, or the number of new cases drop way down as NV is considered a red zone with abut 1000 new cases evert day, most in Clark County (home to Lost Wages) which has most of the state's population. Any suggestions to improve one's BJJ during this period where you will not be totally bored? Keep in mind that NV has just over 3M people thus 1000 a day is a high number per capita. Opinions, suggestions, ideas? Thanks (FWIW until these numbers come down in phase 3 which will allow basically regular type BJJ.

Things are easing up in NV but we still have too many new cases a day probably due to those who fail to heed precautions. Please be safe for a few more months as the vaccination numbers continues to climb. NV is already open to all to be vaccinated and the entire country should be open to all to get vaccinated by April 19th. Go to planyourvaccine.com or your states health site to make your vaccine appt, safer for you and those around you.
