If you read the facts (the newspaper chooses to tell you) you can see what causes the poor guy's neck to break is a fall whilst in the hold. That really isn't the same as an intention to cause GBH or break the guy's neck. It was "reckless" and therefore partly an accident. And - do we know whether the bouncer had a right to chuck this guy out of the club - or did he just attack him for no reason?
