Definitely arms. It's a problem, really. My instinct is always to grab the other guy, haul him around, and go for armbars and other submissions that rely on the arms. It's taken me a while to get into the habit of using my legs in a match, and I still mostly use them for defense rather than for submissions.
I'm pretty solid on going into half-guard for defense or throwing up knee shields, but I need to work on leg subs like scissors. My instinct is always to manhandle the other guy into a position, and I'm still not used to thinking of legs as things that attack. Something to practice in class!
Hey, guys. I asked this on the chat. Figured I'd ask this on here. Do you use your arms more or your legs more in a match? And after that, do you go for the upper body or the lower body?
Me, I'm a legs guy given I like to utilize my quickness and athleticism, and I have really strong legs. And I go for the upper body because it just provides a lot of options.
Wrestling 101: always go for the legs. Especially if its a bigger/taller guy. Thing is, it doesn't always work. At least its never worked on me. My legs are skinny, but it turns out, they're a lot stronger than they look. Anyway, I'm more of the Greco-Roman type, so definitely arms.

Definitely the legs, if you got it use it. Guys have said they will just avoid my legs, but only one or two have been successful

It’s a slight difference but more legs for positioning and more for the upper body of the opponent where that comes up.
