Don't be fooled by his size, this guy is strong. Besides that he has a good technical background, you can tell that he had a few judo training sessions in the past. Uncomplicated and nice to chat with off the mats. 100% recommendable, see you next time in Barcelona! :)

07-Oct 2017 - Got the opportunity to have a rematch with Brian and had an absolute blast. It’s been a few years but this fella has really picked up a lot of skill and gave me a really tough fought match. Subs both ways and was shattered after a really close bout. A really sound lad , and and real gent ( even after giving me a few knees to the face lol ) safe , sane and respectful of limits but a tough opponent. Cheers buddy was great to catch up 👍

Met Brian today at Rochdale as part of a 3 way meet......another one of this sites dark horses, great guy to wrestle, had a sweaty bout, this lads STRONG and doesnt submit easily, really makes you work for them, cheers for a great bout mate....recommend you meet him ...I want to again :-)

hafeezu is a great host and friendly guy. I'm sure he toned down his skill to adapt me as this was my first wrestling experience. He's really good with the body scissors so don't let yourself get caught by his legs.

It was almost a 4 hours session (minus the breaks) with him and makatikid and I had a lot of fun. Do hit him up if you see him around your area.

Sparringbuddy is a very experienced wrestler. He knows exactly how to get a guy to submit. He taught me how to do several choke holds properly. You dont have to be afraid to fight him if you're first timer cos he very friendly and willing to teach. Lets not forget funny at the same time. :P

We had combine session with hafeezu and themakatikid and it was an awesome experience for me as a first timer. Definitely will hit him up again for future session.

He may be new to this wrestling stuff but he is strong enough to be a good wrestler. I did underestimate him due to his experience, but he can just use his strength to headlock you and make you tap. Highly recommended. Will wrestle him again next time. Cheers.

had already several rounds with wrestle83, and I enjoyed the match every time. Wrestle83 is so easy going in the life, and also very skillsful on the Mat. Hope our match can keep going.

I wrestled Andy at Pippa's and had a good, gentle roll around. It was just what I needed after two more intense matches.

Don't be fooled by his gentle demeanour on the mats as he can sneak in some dirty moves. I really enjoyed the grapple and look forward to another match.

July 2nd 2016. Round two with Andy and just as good as round one. It was another good wrestle and it was good to meet up again.

Another good grapple with Andy. Although it was a fairly gentle roll around it turned into the dirtiest match I've had in a long time and I found it excellent. He seems a gentle character but can dish out the punishment - and take it too! Thanks mate!

Round 2 finally happened at Matworker's meet at Pippa's. Jay is even faster and fitter than I remembered. My skills and determination must have improved too as we had a great match with subs on both sides although he got a few more than me. He is among the most friendly, open, fun men I've wrestled and it was a pleasure to meet up with him again.

Round 1

Very fast and very fit. I had a great match with Jay.

I'd watched him wrestling before our match and expected to be taken apart as he seemed to pull holds out of nowhere. When we hit the mats it was a blur of limbs as we rolled around.

He's definitely worth meeting and I'm looking forward to round 2,3,4.......
