If anyone has any dad and son stories they wanna share I’m all ears. When I was about 15 I always wanted to wrestle naked with my uncles but it never went any further

Chatting to guys who wrestled their dads when they were young, or dads that wrestled their boys, things often seem to have gone further

My son is looking a good shaped lad now I’ve always thought of asking him if he wanted a wrestle but don’t know how he would take it. He’s always shouted pile on and jumped on top of you when your laying down and I think he secretly likes a wrestle to.

Your profile states that you are 31 so how old is this kid?

Hmm didn’t notice the age. That’s got me thinking what age do you think it’s appropriate to wrestle with your son?

Excellent observation, Mark. 12–14 at the oldest.

Could always just start wrestling? Like if he tries to pile on you then slowly start to fight him back and wrestle him and take things from there. Would be great to hear how it all goes for you mate. Love dad son wrestling

You’ll never know unless you ask or clarify. Framing the question is important. Like “Remember when you used to…, were you ever wishing we could have wrestled?” Or something shaped in a way that it is not offensive and allows him to answer honestly without having to act in the moment.

Wish you well as you wonder.
